The next event: EMEA Team Triathlon Championship 2014
In 2014 every Comstor EMEA employee will be able to participate in a triathlon event, inspired by the 2013 Beat the Boss Challenge. Country teams can enter local triathlon events to qualify for the Big Final, to be held in a European city in September 2014.

Joining in, making it to the finish line, winning or fundraising for your local charity; whatever your goal, you can now start training and sign up with your team for the event in January .

No Crawling! – and other triathlon rules
The Beat the Boss triathlon is organised by Event Logic, a professional sport event organiser, and the triathlon will follow the rules of the Triathlon England Rule Book. In order to create equal opportunity and fair play for all, competitors will have to stay within the rules. If athletes do not meet these requirements penalties may be awarded by the race officials.

Serious Business

The Swim
The first portion of the triathlon, the 1500 meter swim, is traditionally held in open water. Apart from the distance (60 lengths in a 25 meter swimming pool) there are other factors to take into consideration: the temperature of the water, the state of the water and swimming in a crowd.
